Eternity is a first-person roguelite dungeon crawler where you traverse procedurally generated hell. It is a small game with 3 different types of enemies and a boss. After each floor you can buy your upgrades for the souls you collected, however spending them results in a demonic debuff

The dungeons consists of series of main rooms and side rooms. Each level is a little bit longer making it more challenging to survive. 

You will be able to meet 3 types of enemies and a boss. 

On each floor you can find 3 souls which can be freed. Those souls then can be traded for upgrades.

Combat

Combat is at the core of the game. You will be able to use multiple weapons which allows you to choose your style.

  • Dagger - quick weapon with lowest damage of all
  • Axe - much slower than dagger but with much higher damage
  • Staff - allows you to throw fire balls. It's completely OP so use mainly for fun!
  • Shield - allows you to block incoming attacks, can be used with any weapon

Soul Economy

Souls can be exchange for improvements at the end of each floor.

  • There are 3 souls on each floor.
  • Souls can be traded for heal, stats improvements or weapons
  • Each soul spent increases your demonic debuff. If your HP drops below certain level your speed and damage will be reduced. The demonic debuff is decreased by collecting the coins.

Upgrades

Available upgrades at the end of the floor:

  • Speed - allows you to move faster
  • Attack Speed - allows you to attack much quicker
  • Damage - increases the base damage of the weapon
  • Dice Bonus - increases the dice size for the damage roll
  • New Weapons - swaps your current weapon
  • Healing - heals 25% of your HP

Progression

  • Explore the dungeon floor
  • Defeat the boss to unlock the exit gate
  • Choose upgrades from the cards at level's end
  • Explore the next floor
  • Die, and lose everything - this is roguelite

Eternity was created for Fantastic Game Jam as a complete, playable experience featuring:

  • Full procedural dungeon generation with NavMesh pathfinding
  • First-person melee and ranged combat system
  • Enemy AI with detection, pursuit, and attack behaviors
  • Unique risk/reward soul economy with the Demonic Debuff mechanic
  • Card-based upgrade selection between levels
  • 3 enemies (2 melee, one ranged)  and boss
  • Atmospheric hellish presentation with audio
  • Complete gameplay loop from start to death to restart

So how much of this is ai?
The description clearly is and the scaling is wank

What do you mean by scaling? Code, music and the description is AI. The art is 100% mine, same with all the work in Unity (which could result in scaling issue). Do you have any screenshots to show what scaling problems you have because I tested it thorougly on my PC and haven't encountered any issues. 

Also the description will be updated soon, I just wanted to have something showcasing all game elements for the jam, but you are right, it turned out really AI slop, I have rewritten it whole by myself.
